Role Summary

At Screenrights, we support a vibrant and sustainable screen industry.

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer (Front End) with curiosity to learn and understand problems first before jumping to solutions, and proficiency in writing clean, semantic HTML, using CSS to style it and understanding what good parts of Javascript look like.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ownership of Front End:  This role will scare many and excite few as you will be our first front-end specialist. Don’t worry we are a solid group of Full Stack engineers, we need a specialist to take the product to the next level.
  • Reusable Components: Work closely with the Product designer to build the components that will be used in the product.
  • Design Systems: Develop and maintain design systems or select a Design system that best supports our product development to ensure consistency across our portfolio of applications.
  • UI Development: Develop intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces that enhance user experience for both external and internal customers while  ensuring design consistency and adherence to brand guidelines
  • Collaboration: Work alongside highly skilled Engineers, Product, Design, and QA and be comfortable in asking questions to make sure that you understand what you are about to build.
  • Stay Humble: You understand the importance of this role as you bring designs to life that the interface is helping thousands of members get details about their claims and continue their creative journey.
