Help shape the future of copyright, licensing and related AI policy issues

Screenrights is a non-profit membership organisation that provides rights and royalty management services to the screen industry. We facilitate access to screen content through simple licensing solutions for teachers in education, administrators in government, and home viewers with subscription TV – and provide royalty payments to members for the programs audiences love.

As technology, content consumption and artificial intelligence continue to transform the creative industries, we're looking for an experienced policy and stakeholder engagement leader to help shape the future of copyright, licensing and screen industry policy.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll lead Screenrights' policy, advocacy and government relations agenda while building strong relationships with government, industry bodies, members and other key stakeholders.

This is an opportunity to influence important national conversations, contribute to meaningful policy reform and help ensure creators and rightsholders continue to be recognised and rewarded in a rapidly changing environment.

About the Role

As Head of Policy & Stakeholder Relations, you'll develop and lead Screenrights' policy and advocacy strategy across Australia and New Zealand.

You'll provide trusted advice to the CEO, Executive and Board on emerging policy issues, stakeholder dynamics and strategic opportunities. You'll represent Screenrights in government consultations, industry forums and stakeholder discussions while building support for the organisation's priorities.

A key focus of the role will be understanding and responding to emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, and their impact on copyright, licensing and future revenue opportunities.
