Our Creative Workshop Spaces
Porpoise Spit
Porpoise Spit is named after the home town of Muriel Heslop that she wants to escape from in House & Moorhouse Films’ hilarious, delightful and touching Muriel’s Wedding.
The room comes equipped with an intimate work table. A whiteboard or flip chart with markers can also be provided.
Bonnie Doon
Named after the classic song in Working Dog Productions’ The Castle when the family set off to Bonnie Doon on a fishing trip, this room is the perfect space for 4-8 people to brainstorm and workshop story ideas.
The room comes equipped with an overhead projector and a large work table. A whiteboard or flip chart with markers can also be provided.

Screenrights’ offices are located at 140 Myrtle Street, Chippendale 2008 NSW Australia
By train: A short walking distance from Redfern Station (700m) or Central Station (950m)
By Bus: Bus stops on City Road, Camperdown (550m), Broadway, Ultimo (450m) and Cleveland Street, Chippendale (250m).
By Car: There is limited off street parking, mostly 1 or 2 hours. The closest commercial car park is at the Seymour Centre, Cleveland Street (500m) or Broadway Shopping Centre (750m).
Availability & Cost
Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays), 9:00am to 5:00pm.
The Creative Workshop Spaces are subject to availability and the operational needs of Screenrights.
There is no fee to hire a room. We ask that if you hire a room for two or more days that you make a contribution of $100 per day to one of the following industry charities:
