Looking for the perfect space to run story workshops, pre-production meetings or business planning sessions? See if our Sydney meeting rooms are free.

We are pleased to make our centrally located member hub and hot desks available to screen industry practitioners.

Availability & Cost

Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays), 9:30am to 4:30pm.

The Member Hub spaces are subject to availability and the operational needs of Screenrights.

There is no fee to hire a room or a desk. We ask that if you hire a room for two or more days that you make a contribution of $100 per day to one of the following industry charities:

Accessibility

Our Member Hub spaces are fully accessible. Let our team know your access needs when you make a booking enquiry.

Entry via Cumberland Street is recommended as there is a ramp outside The Stamford Residences for entry to the building. Once inside there is lift access to our office space; please ring the doorbell to let a Screenrights team member know you have arrived so that they can arrange access for you.

Hot Desking

We have a number of spaces available for individual desk work, including a semi-private room named after No Coincidence Media and Mārama Productions’ We Are Still Here, as well as other more collaborative options.

These can be equipped with an extra display screen to hook up your laptop if required.

The Castle

Named after Working Dog Productions’ The Castle, this room is the perfect space for 8-12 people to conduct large meetings and planning sessions.

The room comes equipped with two big screens for remote participants and presentations, a large work table and a whiteboard. This room can be combined with The Devil’s Playground (see below) for extra large meetings.

The Devil's Playground

The space named for the classic Australian film from The Film House is a good fit for brainstorming and workshopping story ideas.

The room comes equipped with a screen for remote participants and presentation, and a table that can comfortably seat up to 8 people.

Screenrights’ offices are located at Suite 3, 185 Gloucester Street, The Rocks NSW Australia

By train: A short walking distance from Wynyard Station (700m) or Circular Quay Station (600m)

By Bus: Many buses service the area, check Transport NSW for route information

By Car: There is limited street parking, with the closest commercial car park at Quay West (200m) or Grosvenor Place (270m)
